Kili climbers see the net result
1st December 2009
You probably remember the incredibly brave team of celebrities who climbed the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro and raised a whopping £3.5 million for Red Nose Day 2009.
Well, now five of the celebrity climbers - Ben Shephard, Chris Moyles, Fearne Cotton, Gary Barlow and Kimberley Walsh – have gone to Uganda to see for themselves how some of that cash is helping to fight malaria there.
The team’s trip to Uganda is being filmed for a special report back TV show called Comic Relief: The Net Result – which will be shown on BBC One over the Christmas period.
If you can’t wait until then, go to comicrelief.com to watch a sneak preview of how the team got on.
